Quiet water is a planned development that was started in 1983. It currently consists of 73 lots of which 52 have homes. It is a unique mixture of smaller "cabins" on cluster lots along the river and moderate size homes on somewhat larger standard lots situated on higher ground.
The community is known for its river walk, quiet open space, wildlife, alder trees, temperate climate and friendly neighbors. The first Saturday of every month is designated "Quiet Friends Day" when members join together over a meal and reconnect with old and new friends.
In Quiet Water, many of us are rediscovering that sense of community that we remember from our childhood. Open space and a lack of fences encourage conversations between neighbors. Monthly pot lucks and a willingness to pitch in and help each other help define our community.
The public is welcome to explore our community and enjoy the river walk. All that we ask is you leave things as you found them.
