Milo Graamans , was born in 1992, and grew up in Yachats. He has been studying piano with Jessica Treon since age 4. He has also studied composition with Dr. Mary Lee Scoville.

He gave his first solo concert in 2007 at the Yachats Commons as a benefit. He finished the Oregon Music Teachers Association 10-year classical music curriculum in 8 years. In 2010, Milo presented a Senior Recital at the Newport Performing Arts Center.

He has been chosen numerous times since 2003 for the state level OMTA (Oregon Music Teachers Association) Ensemble Festivals, Bach Festivals, and Composers Festivals, occurring around the state. He has played in five musicals at the Yachats Commons and the Newport Performing Arts Center, and often plays to benefit local causes.  Milo’s other interests include the works of Shakespeare, and videography. His business, Milo Graamans Productions, recently produced a professional DVD of Hamlet, performed by the Newport, Oregon’s Red Octopus Company. He will be attending the University of Oregon School of Music this Fall in Eugene.
